Place Healing

Native American tradition or way of life so much incorporated being connected with the animals, plants, and earth. My work is about getting us back in touch with this same spirit of our land or place. My work is about getting us grounded and reconnected, deeply rooted with where we are planted on this part of our journey, wherever that may find us.

There are numerous sources of unseen energy associated with the earth and with the spirit of the land. The first part of a traditional place healing session is walking my client’s space, no mater how small or large, and hearing from my client stories about their space. I am very blessed and humbled as I learn about the history, heritage, feelings, and specialness of a place. There exists such potential for love, light, and compassion between the spirit of a person and his/her place. My work is to help figure out how these spirits can and want to work together.

As I walk a place, one of the tools I use are dowsing rods, which I use to asses different sources of unseen energies: energy lays, water veins, vortexes, power centers, and more. These sources of energies are all very natural and almost always present. The question I help to answer is whether or not these energies need to be adjusted because they may be impacting someone’s health. One common example is the presence of an underground water vein that happens to flow under the exact location of a bed. The water vein can be ‘pinned’ to mitigate any negative impact, the bed could be moved, and, sometimes, the water vein can be moved.

Another aspect of my healing work involves clearing the land or place of predecessor chi, which is energy associated with the memories or past events of a place. Much like our bodies store stress in different ways, so does our land or place, so I perform earth acupuncture to release this predecessor chi. This type of clearing is one of most common healing interventions.

After a healing session takes place, I draw and type up a report that summarizes my findings and interventions. Usually this work remains in place for many years, but there can be additional adjustments based on what is occurring on the land or in the building.

Almost always, healing your place involves you in some way. It is a very intimate and special relationship that is fostered between the spirits of the place and client.  If you want to further explore if the relationship with your place and you needs some healing, please give me a call.
