Each month, I write a journal entry on this website, with the current month’s entry on the home page. Here you will find the previous months’ writings. Thanks for reading and blessings to you!
APRIL 2012 – UPDATE
This morning I experienced one of my most powerful and poignant journeys. As you may know I strongly believe in the connection between the spirits of the land, plants, & animals and the people who live on or visit that land. As I was moving chips from the large piles to the trail that is being built, I realized that I was being ‘supervised’ by a very special Native Spirit. So, after my trail work, I journeyed to learn more about this spirit who has appeared. He is a Chief who lived here many moons ago, and he guided me in building one of many medicine circles that are starting to show themselves on the land. I then took the tools of my dowsing and Shaman work, and placed them on the seat in the middle of the medicine circle, and asked for a blessing on the work that is unfolding. One of the drums was given to me by my youngest daughter and my oldest daughter made the rattle for me several years ago. These tools are sacred and special.
So, today, with humility, grace, and gratitude, I announce that my Shaman practice is ‘open for business.’ I have been shown day after day, during my journeys, how my practice is supposed to ‘be.’ My office will be the land. I will first meet with my clients in the home office, and then will we walk to the sacred space of the land that we are being called to that particular day. It is there that we will journey together to seek guidance from our spirits around the matters that have been brought into the session.
I feel very blessed and excited to make this announcement. Healing through nature, spirit, and energy is how I work with my clients. Shamanic practice is the foundation of my work. If you are interested in visiting this land for a healing session, then please call or email (contact page) me. Monetary exchange for sessions range from $60 to $120, depending on what you are led to pay. I will post more information on the “Shaman” page, which I will develop over the weekend.
Thank you, to all of my friends, spirit colleagues, clients, daughters, and guides for teaching me that it is time to do this work. Blessings, Peace, Love, & Joy – Paul
APRIL 2012
A friend sent me a link to a Ted Talk about vulnerability, by Brene’ Brown (http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on_vulnerability.html). I found the talk reassuring as I journey through a very vulnerable stage in my life. For years and years, I believed being vulnerable was a sign of weakness. Lately, I have embraced these long days of feeling very vulnerable because my life is changing each and every second through this vulnerability. The changes are coming quickly, and they often seem overwhelming, and, yet, for the first time, perhaps, in my life, I am not fighting back this vulnerability. Instead, I am trying very hard to just stay with the feelings of being vulnerable through shamanic journeying and meditation.
Like Brene,’ I have learned that the feeling of vulnerability is actually a feeling linked to deeper feelings of shame, fear, and low self worth. But, also like Brene,’ I believe that what emerges after dealing with these feelings are amazing feelings of joy, creativity, belonging, and loving. While I can’t wait to get through this incredibly tough stage of feeling vulnerable, I also recognize that I am in this phase of my journey so that I can help others get through the same phase when I open my Shaman practice in a few months.
Let me tell you a story about the land where I live. It was once the site of a very old farm house and barn, which, at some point, were allowed to collapse. The old foundation of granite stone is strewn about the perimeter of the lawn, so today, I started to move some of these stones to the area where the sacred gardens will be built by workshop participants in May (see the Teaching page or below). With each rock that I moved, I asked that rock to take some of my shame and grief away.
The rocks are strong. Our earth is strong. The trees on this land are strong. The spirit of this land is strong. So, I bow down, as steward of this land, with all of my grief and shame, and ask them to help me heal from my vulnerability, so that I can move into joy, love, light, and compassion for myself and for all who know me or meet me.
And to you, the reader of this journal entry, I ask you to consider doing the same. Whether it is here, at our workshops this May, or on your own land or at your own special place, share your vulnerability with the spirit of our land, plants, and animals, and then ask the same spirit to join us as we seek to re-create a sacred earth, a sacred place, a place of true love, healing, respect, and joy. A place that our earth once was.
Consider joining us for one of our work-days at Lenape-Abenaki Farm so that you can take some time to re-connect with the spirit of our earth, which has sustained us for thousand of years. Consider pausing during your day to realize your own fears and grief, so that you can live in full joy and love. Consider being yourself, not someone who you think everyone wants you to be.

March 2012

While this tree is physically depleted, it is alive with the spirit of the animals that feed and rest on it. It stands in the middle of the woods at Lenape-Abenaki Farm.
I have decided to do something a little different for this month’s journal entry. Sometimes I find my words are not adequate in describing all that I feel and believe. There are other practitioners who share similar visions and practices with the work I do, so this month I share with you a few links to some videos that speak dearly to my heart. I hope they do the same for you.

In the meantime, Lenape-Abenaki Farm officially opens this Spring. Please visit the Lenape-Abenaki Farm and Teaching pages to learn more about what is unfolding here.
I am very excited about the official opening of the Lenape-Abenaki Farm and all of these workshops. There will be more to come. I am deeply humbled and appreciative by the support of everyone who has and will share in this journey.
I believe March and April will be exciting months for many people. May you find some excitement, joy, peace, and love in your journey.

Paul
FEBRUARY 2012
Greetings from Lenape-Abenaki Farm. I hope you are enjoying the sun one way or another. The good news is that the days are getting longer!
I just returned from a special trip to the U.K., where I was able to experience Stonehenge for the first time, in addition to walking several different lands of sacredness and deep heritage & history. I feel blessed and humbled because I met people who are doing the same type of work and share the same vision of reconnecting with our sacred earth and her plants, animals, and spirit. It is clear to me that there is a world wide shift occurring in our desire to truly connect to each other, to our earth, and to the guides who are showing us the way.
I would like to take some time this month to further describe the process I am going through as a person in relation to the land where I now live. To be perfectly honest, it has taken 50 years to understand what is unfolding, but I am at least starting to grasp tidbits of the understanding. I think I have spent years trying to know the outcome of my life, trying to control the outcome of my life, and trying to create a perfect scenario in terms of finances, living space, career, family, etc. You know, the American Dream that everyone talks about.
On the Lenape-Abenaki Farm page, I describe the intentions I have for this special land where I live, but the past few weeks of meditating and convening with colleagues have led me to re-frame how the Lenape-Abenaki Farm is to come about. While the bank says I am paying the mortgage and the town says I have the title to this land and I must pay taxes, it truly is not my land. I see myself simply as the temporary steward of this land. The guides for this land and for my personal journey have made it clear, time after time, that as steward of this land, I am to make this land available for anyone who wants to be here, whether it is to meditate, to walk the land, to work the land, to communicate with the spirit of the land, to add to the land, or to seek healing here. So, while I have put out to the universe the intentions for this land, I recognize that I truly must allow the development of the Lenape-Abenaki Farm to be facilitated by the people and spirits who visit this land.
This is a different way of building a place of retreat and healing. This is a process that encourages me to truly surrender to you, the people who come here. This is a process that encourages me to trust in you, that you will be here when you need to be here and how you need to be here. This is a process that is about turning it over to the spirit of the land and trusting that the many trees, flowers, rocks, animals, diva and nature spirits will bring to this land what is supposed to be here.
So, in the true spirit of surrender and trust, I agree to be steward of the Lenape-Abenaki Farm, and I turn over to all interested people and the spirits of this place the development of this emerging retreat and healing place to all visitors, whether you visit in spirit, in person, or in support.
Our first four Spring 2012 workshops have been set. The development of the Lenape-Abenaki Farm is underway. Participants of the workshops will be creating sacred places on this land and they will be connecting with the spirit of the trees, plants, animals, and earth. Visit the Lenape-Abenaki Farm page for dates and workshop information. Loving Our Land Workshops (Click for PDF Info Sheet)
May you find the time to pause to connect with your sacred place of living and/or work so that you can listen for guidance and wisdom as to how you can let life unfold as it should.
Peace & Blessings,
Paul
JANUARY 2012
As I write this journal entry in my living room on December 31, 2011, it already is 2012 somewhere in the world, so I hope for you a year of inner peace, love, light, and compassion. I believe as long as we work hard to hold these qualities in our heart, then we will remain on the path that is in our highest best interest. (Let me say that working to keep a focus on these qualities takes energy and commitment, and each day I personally struggle to keep this focus, but that struggle is part of my journey, and I accept the challenge!)
I have known for close to a month what I would be writing for my January 2012 entry, so I share the following news with excitement and a little trepidation. I have learned over the past few years that stating my intentions truly does help to clarify what I want to happen in my life. Today I am stating my intentions for 2012.
Lenape-Abenaki Farm. I moved to my 7+ acres of land a few months ago because I felt the spirit of this land calling me. While I am very blessed to live in a well built, modest home, it truly is the land that has called me here. Over the past few months, I have met with various people who understand and know trees, plants, and rocks, and I have journeyed on my land to seek guidance from its spirits. I am moving forward with my dream of having a hobby farm with various animals and trails with various meditation points so that anyone (including children!) who needs to find a place to meet and heal with nature or animals, can do so here. Most exciting about this hope is that, along with some other nature based healers, the first official Lenape-Abenaki Farm day-long workshop is being planned for Spring 2012. You can read more about my plans and hopes on the Lenape-Abenaki Farm page.
Shamanic Apprenticeship. Much of my energy and healing work is based on training I have received from various mentors and on my own experiences. For years, I have felt a special relationship with the Shaman guides in my life, so I have decided to enter into a year-long Shaman Apprenticeship under the teaching of Maine’s Dory Cote. It is my belief that this training will bring so much more light, compassion, love, and understanding to the work I do and to the people who I get to connect with on a daily basis. I am quite excited about this training and am grateful to the various people who guided me to Dory and to Dory herself for making the Apprenticeship available. I am sure that I will provide updates as the year unfolds.
So, I have a big year planned ahead, but I want to pause to give gratitude. I am so thankful for my clients, my students, my mentors, my friends, my spirit guides, and especially my two beautiful daughters, who have encouraged and supported me along this journey. Without all of these people and guides, this journey would be lonely and much more difficult.
I mentioned at the beginning of this journal entry that I am sharing my intentions for 2012 with excitement and a little trepidation. I think the excitement is easy to grasp. Trepidation is a form of fear, and it is my belief that when we are truly connected, grounded, and centered with our highest self and with whomever we identify as God, then fear is not a part of the journey. On the other hand, I think it is important to be upfront about my human and ego based feelings with you. It is not easy to share my trepidation, and yet, I feel empowered and emboldened to share, for I move forward from my heart and my spirit, which provide the words I write.
I hope you join me in 2012 by stating your own intentions, and by working hard to stay focused on your inner heart, spirit, and light. May 2012 bring each of us delightful surprises, warm love, and plenty of compassion.
Peace & Blessings,
Paul
DECEMBER 2011
I don’t know about you, but it seems we are a much more anxious society than we used to be. It seemed much easier to be a kid when I was growing up in the 70s.
I met today with a colleague, who practices as a Shaman and Counselor. I liked her view on anxiety and how we can help reduce anxiety, so I thought I would share her wisdom.
Anxiety is produced when we are not in “right-relationship” with our self, with our loved ones, with our spirit, and with all that surrounds us. As a western civilization, we have pillaged much of our natural resources, so we are struggling to become “right” again with our earth and all her precious resources. The destruction of our natural resources and the struggle to change our ways has produced anxiety.
When we are in a fight or there is acute tension with a loved one, we are not in “right-relationship” with that person. This results in anxious communication and feelings. When we are in the midst of an argument with our best friend, and there has been no resolution, we are not in right relationship with our friend. This produces unsettling feelings or anxiety.
Finally, when we are not honoring our highest self, our inner voice, our true passion and gifts, then we are not in right relationship with our self. We then become anxious.
So, during this season of birth and forgiveness, let’s think about our relationships and which ones need to be made right. Where I can help is strengthening our relationship with our place, our land, our plants, and our animals. Being in right-relationship with where we live and work is one way to help reduce anxiety. Let the healing begin. Be right.
Peace and Blessings,
Paul
NOVEMBER 2011
An early Fall snow storm challenged me to focus on the basics with internet and phone service down for a few days. The challenge was that I had to spend time with myself and to work through feelings and obstacles that seemed to be in the way of a fulfilling day and journey. One way I work through such challenges is by spending time with nature.
My place healing practice is changing as I spend time with nature. I am discovering how much our earth and all that lives and grows on it can provide our bodies and spirits with what is needed to be healthy and loving. As I visit with my clients, my work is starting to turn towards fostering and strengthening the spirit and physical partnership that exists between my client and their place. Much is to be said about working in unison, in partnership, with the spirit of our place. So, when I work to heal the energy of a place, I am learning that the healing equally involves the client and his/her partnership with place and land.
My daughter and I were on an evening drive into town when my car lights lit up a goat in the middle of the road, at least we thought it was a goat. As it turns out, it was a white dear (with some brown blotches) walking across the road with her friends and family. This moment was one of the most beautiful and precious moments I have had with my daughter. Just the week before we had attended an Animal Totem workshop led by Stephen Farmer, who has written several books and created Oracle cards about Animal Totems. This deer was a message to both of us that we are on the right path. The white color represents how special and unique our own paths are.
This past week I worked a property with a beautiful Oak tree. I could feel the healing energy of the tree and encouraged my client to remove a small fence from around the tree so she could gain full healing benefits from the tree. Ted Andrews writes that an Oak tree awakens strength and endurance. I believe that. I could feel those qualities from that Oak tree.
So, spend some time with Nature this month. Feel what kind of healing messages and medicine you need and ask Nature to help meet those needs.
Enjoy!
OCTOBER 2011
Namaste’. A greeting that sometimes loses it deepest meaning because it is said without being connected to our heart or inner self. One translation I know for Namaste’ is “I bow to you.” I bow to you recognizing the divine love and light that connects you and me. I bow to you in respect for the work you are doing for your self and others on your path.
So, today I am writing in recognition and in respect of the clients I feel blessed to have met over the past few months. I am deeply humbled and touched by sharing my clients’ space, by learning how and why that space is so special, and by feeling how everyone is working so hard to find peace, love, and light in their individual journey.
Each property I have visited brings a very special and heartfelt message for the current owner or tenant. Each client has shared a powerful story that speaks to his/her strength, love, compassion, and spirit. Every assessment and healing is led by the Spirit of that land, fortified by the spirit and love of the people living and working there. Again, I bow to all who I have met and to the work you are doing on your land, in your home, and on your path.
This past week I taught a dowsing class at Leapin Lizards (www.leapinlizards.biz). Each student brought enthusiasm and desire to learn and to stay on their path. The questions asked were challenging and thought provoking. I felt like I was learning more than I was teaching. I bow to these new colleagues in deep respect for their willingness to take risks, to challenge me, and to be challenged. I was blessed by each interaction and I am grateful to have shared an evening with this group.
I am fortunate, so very fortunate. Thank you for sharing your home, your place of business, and your heart. Thank you for sharing your passion, love, and light for the work I do, for the Spirit of your place, and for the moments we have and will walk the path together. I have been blessed.

SEPTEMBER 2011SYNCHRONICITY. This word has been at the forefront of my journey over the past couple of months. I have decided that events I often termed coincidence are actually events that played out exactly as they were destined to. I would like to describe a few examples as to why I believe this. A few weeks ago, I enjoyed a brief respite to the shores of Maryland. While the purpose of my trip was to visit my brother and his family, I ended up having a lot of solitude time on the beach. It was on the beach where I was able to just be and to connect with Spirit through the waves, sand, and animals that graced the ocean. I also befriended a local family with two special children and now that friendship has opened doors that may allow me to expand my place healing practice. At the end of the visit, I had a three hour drive to the airport, and so I decided to ‘put out’ to the universe that I would like to meet someone on the plane who would provide a special connection. I felt the energy of one particular passenger, and wondered if I could some how meet her. When I got to my row, there she was, the same woman. We had an amazing talk during our flight to Portland. It was as if we had been friends for years. Now, I may not see this person ever again, but the significance and power of our conversation still weighs on me a few weeks later. I believe we were supposed to meet just to have that conversation. Today, I had some open time before heading off to work with a client. I decided I would treat myself to some lunch but wasn’t quite sure where I should eat. I decided to just drive until the right restaurant appeared. Sure enough, a local health food restaurant appeared and I knew that was where I supposed to eat lunch. In the restaurant was the first light worker I had ever worked with. I always refer to Eileen as an angel, as she truly is connected to God in a rare and special way. It was her messages and work 10 years ago that started me on this journey. Seeing Eileen has brought back full circle to reaffirm that the path I am on is the correct one. I am emboldened to continue working and trying to live in this special way, by living within the current moment and with simplicity, compassion, love, and light.
So, is it coincidence or is supposed to happen the way it happens? You decide.
May your journey be full of synchronicity!
AUGUST 2011
As the new month dawns tomorrow, I find myself not sure where I am going with this blog entry. So, this means I am going to let spirit guide me.
I am sitting outside. There are several birds talking. I am not much of a birder, so I don’t know what type of birds they are, but their language is beautiful. I wonder what they are saying to each other. I worked on a property today. Towards the end of my session, while talking with my client, a hawk soared above us. I believe the hawk showed up at that time to send a message, to let us know he was along side my client during her exciting journey. Birds are special animal totems. See which ones show up in your life over the next few days.
Yesterday, I was enjoying this amazing bike ride along the coast of Maine. Out of no where, this leaf fluttered perfectly into my outreached and open left hand. I was dumbfounded that the leaf actually fell into my hand while I was riding my bike. I held on to the leaf and wondered why it landed in my hand. I felt there was a message to be heard. The leaf was from a red maple tree. Today, when I met with my client, she mentioned planting a tree in the center courtyard of her property. Guess what tree? A red maple. I reaffirmed that she chose the right tree as I relayed my bike ride story from the day before.
There are some really special messages in the many moments that unfold each day. I am working hard to truly live in each moment. Seriously, when you think about it, that is all we have. This moment, right now. So, pause and listen as this moment unfolds. What message do you hear, either from nature or from within?
Blessings,
Paul
JULY 2011
I have found over the years that requests for space clearing and healing are cyclical, and right now there is an uptick in requests for this type of work. This makes me think that a lot of people are looking inward and outward to make changes in their lives to promote a healthier lifestyle.

Last night, an amazing storm passed over the entire state. Where I live, the clouds were deep and dark, and they were the prelude to a very energetic and cleansing storm. The thunder and lightning were awesome, and the rain swept away all that needed to be moved.
While space clearing and healing is not performed with such awe, the energy involved and the cleansing that occurs can be just as thorough and inspiring as a summer evening’s thunderstorm.
If you have treated yourself to an acupuncture, chiropractor, or massage session, consider doing the same for the space where you live and/or work. If you are trying to sell your house, or if you are feeling that your space just doesn’t seem right, then consider getting an adjustment done on your space!
I have been assessing and healing earth related energy for almost 10 years now. It is fun to walk a property with my dowsing rods and show people where there are energy related issues that may be influencing their health. It is also an honor to learn about the history and how special a client’s place of living or work is.
Give me a call or or send me an email if you would like to have your property or business assessed for earth and other energy related stresses. Check out more info about my space healing work here.
Thanks for visiting and happy Summer!
JUNE 2011
I love this time of year, with the sun and birds waking me up early, allowing me time to enjoy the trees, flowers, birds, and all of mother nature before I start the bustle of the day. Spring does bring new beginnings, doesn’t it?
Last weekend, I took myself to an amazing movie, called ‘I Am,’ in downtown Portland, so this month’s blog entry is sharing about the message I got from the movie. Tom Shadyac, who wrote, directed, and narrated this documentary, is a very well known and accomplished Hollywood director, who had a serious head injury from a bike accident. For a few months, it was unclear if he would recover his cognitive functions, and if so, to what extent. Tom describes going through the very difficult challenge of trying to find the will to live and to comprehend the consequences of his injury.
One day, though, Tom noticed a slight improvement, and as his cognitive function improved, he also noted a profound change in the outlook of his life, and an awakening to the fact that he was not living life the way he truly wanted to. So, Tom sold his multi-million dollar properties and most of his belongings. He hired a film crew and traveled the world to interview our world’s most respected scientists, philosophers, and religious leaders.
The title of the movie, I Am, is based on a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, who was asked what was wrong with the world. His reply, “I Am.”
The first half of the movie discusses how we, as a collective society, have gotten into such materialistic, competitive, and unhealthy lifestyles, and how we are destroying so much of the nature that surrounds us. In other words, we are what is wrong with this world.
The second half of the movie discusses what some people are doing to lead the effort to change our world for the better, and that there is hope to change our way of living and save our planet. Some of the stories in the movie were funny, some profound, & some enlightening. Collectively, the message of the movie was life changing & also reaffirming for me.
At the end of the movie, Tom asks this question, “What is right with the world?”
His answer: “I hope I am!”
Tom challenges us to believe we can also be what is right in this world. The love, passion, and compassion we are born with is absolutely amazing. YOU can make a difference. You are the only one in charge of your life and the way you live it. So, enjoy today. Live today. Love today. Laugh today. Be today.
What’s right with this world? You are!
Peace,
Paul
MAY 2011
There appears to be a common theme for clients I have seen over the past couple of months. Everyone seems busy with their everyday jobs, responsibilities, and tasks, and yet they feel a sense of something missing in their life. While “what is missing” is different for each person, I do believe there are a few simple steps we all could take to figure what is the what that is missing (that was fun to write!).
While it will be easy for me to suggest what these easy steps are, I will be the first to admit that I am not always the most consistent in taking these steps, but I have been getting better over the past few months.
First and foremost, I would suggest starting your day with 5 to 30 minutes by yourself, in meditation, prayer, yoga, or some other activity that allows you to become focused, centered, and grounded for the day. I know my day tends to go a lot smoother when I start my day this way. Interactions and tasks are more positive.
Secondly, breath deeply whenever you can consciously do so. Shallow breathing usually represents being stressed and busy. Deep breathing promotes relaxation and the release of of stress.
Finally, be with nature on a daily basis. Listen to the birds. Look for wildlife. Ponder the emerging flowers. Walk along or through a river. Climb a mountain or rappel a cliff. Go kayaking or canoeing. Nature surrounds us and provides us with our sustenance and energy. What is nature saying to you?
In her book, Anatomy of the Spirit, Carolyn Myss writes that our biographies are our biology. In other words, the way we live our daily life is going to dictate how healthy we remain and how much we are going to enjoy each day. The simple steps I list above provide an opportunity to pause each day so that you can take an inventory. Listen your body. What is it telling you? Listen to your Spirit. What is it telling you? Listen to nature. What is it telling you? Listen to your God. What is s/he telling you?
So, what is missing in your journey? Honestly, you have the answer within you. The trick is creating the time to let the answer emerge.
If you would like to pause from your daily schedule to hear the messages that may be trying to emerge from within, and you are open to doing so with an intuitive reader, you are welcome to give me a call.
Happy May! Happy Mother’s Day!
Blessings,
Paul
APRIL 2011
In the April 2011 issue of “The Inner Tapestry,” writer Asrianna (www.asrianna.com) describes highly sensitive people as those who “possess immense gifts of the heart.” She goes on to say the “sensitive spirit first processes everything through the heart rather than the intellect, and, thus, carries tremendous compassion, love, empathy, and care. These sensitive people take on the burdens and feelings of those around them and they struggle in busy places and around lots of stimuli.”
Asrianna’s words really stuck with me because they describe many children who are struggling to fit into the educational and societal boxes us adults have created for them. My daughters, who are both extremely empathic and sensitive, have always struggled with feeling the emotions of those around them. These sensitivities carry extra challenges and require more work to traverse each day, and there are days when I can see and feel my daughters’ exhaustion in carrying their gifts through the day.
I wish I knew much more about these spiritually connected children when my daughters were born because I think there are things I would have done differently as a parent and as an educator. As we all know, though, it is important to believe that we have done our reasonable best, and so I move forward as a parent with this belief, but also with this concept of wanting to share what I now know and trying to help connected children and their parents.
It is from personal and professional experiences that my “SpiritKids” initiative emerges, and as Spring 2011 unfolds, I believe this aspect of practice will become better defined. I am in the middle of creating classes for spiritually connected children and their parents, so please check back every couple of weeks to see when and where these classes are being offered. More information can be found on the SpiritKids page.
May you find joy in your heart and in those who are around you.
Blessings,
Paul
MARCH 2011
I was 14 years old when my paternal grandmother died, but, for me, I always sensed she was watching over me from that day onward. It wasn’t until last year, 4 decades after her death, when I learned my grandmother believed in and performed ‘powwowing,’ which is a Native American and Pennsylvania Dutch healing ritual steeped in prayer and energy clearing. I am confident my grandmother passed these special gifts on to my father, and, thus, to me. Her life and beliefs are an integral part of my intuitive practice today.
Equally important, I believe my grandmother intervened in my life as my guardian angel. I am sure each of us remembers times when we thought we were going to die. For me, several events come to mind, and in each of those events, I believe God, through my guardian angels, intervened. Probably the most recent example is when my car hit a patch of ice on the highway and sent me careening towards a tractor-trailer. I just sat back, took a deep breath, and tried to relax for impact. Suddenly, as I was about to hit the truck, my car slid over to the next lane, neatly sliding in between two other cars that were sliding out of control. My car emerged from the multi car accident untouched and heading forward on the highway, as if the car was never spinning at all. It was as if my car was picked up and moved by an army of angels. There are other times when I know God and my guardian angels intervened, but I will save those stories for another day.
I remember when a a friend of mine lost her best friend suddenly during a surgery gone awry in her early 20′s. My friend, understandably, was devastated. Shortly after Maureen died, we prayed and asked for a sign from God that Maureen was okay. I lit a candle as we prayed, and the shadow of the candle’s light cast a perfect angel silhouette on the wall. It was an amazing image and incredibly moving. I believe Maureen sent us that angel that night, and that she is forever watching over my friend.
Do you wonder who is watching out for you? Who has God sent to be your Guardian Angel? Having an intuitive reading may help you answer these questions.
As always, thanks for visiting, and have an angelic March!
FEBRUARY 2011
Some people may wonder what an Intuitive Reader bases his/her readings on. It is a very personal experience for each reader, but what I see are images of people, objects, words, and various forms of different color lights. I describe what I see to my client, and, together, we can often relate my descriptions to the questions or concerns that my client has brought to the session for clarification. Sometimes, what I describe is not what the client seeks clarification on, but on what his or her guides (spirit or angel) want being brought up for discussion and consideration.
As I was updating this site today, I decided to add some images of stones I have on my studio table. I was struck by the aura in the images that is surrounding these stones, because this aura is not visible when you look at the stones with the ‘naked’ eye. Well, for me, what I see during readings is not visible to the ‘naked’ eye, but becomes visible to me when I open a session with prayer, proper grounding, permission, and angel or spirit support.
Always, prior to a session, I do a check in with my spirit guides and with my client’s spirit guides. I take some notes during this pre-session check-in. What is enlightening is comparing these pre-session notes with what my client comes into a session seeking clarification on. It’s a cliche’, but we’re typically on the ‘same page,’ and this is because every session is being led and guided by our spirit guides.
